The key aim of the PASE Project is to record information about Anglo-Saxon persons, or persons important in the Anglo-Saxon
world, as presented in contemporary source materials.
Click on "Digital Strategy" to find out about the basic principles upon which the database was designed. The "Data Gathering" section describes several aspects of the process the project followed for collecting the materials and editing them into
the final product you see here. The "Help" section provides an introduction to the web interface to the database. Read it to find out how to find materials in the
database, and to understand what you are seeing after you have found materials of interest. The "Database Statistics" provides some numbers that count how much data is in the database.
